The history of the Farm

Through the centuries

 Charlotte and Andrew are pleased to welcome you in a 12th century Farm.

Fourth generation ploughing and sowing the land of La Ferme du Grand Logis.

The buildings of this out of time place dates from different periodes...

The Barn is the oldest. It was built during the 12Ith century by the Abbaye de Chaâlis Cistercians Monks (Very Near)

It was used to collect farmers crops for the monks. Nowwe use it to store hay, straw and food for animals.

The Pigeon Loft built during the 16th century was recently restored.

A stable which had burn have been rebuilt in 1848.

At this time, The Farm was called "la Grande Loge", it was a Post Relay where horses used to be changed and riders used to relax and eat.
